The AD-Cademy & Brixton Finishing School disrupt the way the Creative, Advertising, and Tech industries recruit talent. We are an ‘end to end ‘ solution to the industry’s diversity challenges.

Brixton Finishing School is the winner of Britain's Best Digital Skills and Inclusion project 2019. We offer a 10 week course in the summer that transforms raw talent into entry-level candidates for a spectrum of ring-fenced roles at big-name sponsors across the marketing communication spectrum and the digital, media and creative industries. Our focus is Multicultural/White working Class and or Neurodiverse individuals who want to accelerate their digital, marketing, creative and professional skills.

We have also launched our brand new product: The AD-Cademy.

This is a nationwide, free, version of BFS, with a blend of BFS content, speed mentoring and Keynotes. We are in the midst of a large-scale pilot, backed by leading brands, tech companies, marketing, media and creative agencies.

The Role:
Brixton Finishing School & The AD-Cademy are scaling up and we are looking for a Database Developer to help us design, develop and manage our systems, products and databases.

We are looking for someone to ‘stitch’ our back end together and optimise it (so our channels speak to each other - integrating Salesforce/Website/Podia/Social Media etc…)

What you will be doing:
You will be working on building out our databases, our current systems and databases to ensure all the parts and speaking to one another.
Improving and streamlining all our processes and determining our database architecture and organisational methods.
Creating regular reports on our databases.
Working with the team to map out and improve the digital user journey - they are non technicals so the ability to ‘translate’ to ‘non techs’ is a plus!
Providing technical support for the team

Responsibilities:

The kind of person we’re looking for…
3+ years experience desired
Necessary: Experience with integration, APIs.
Necessary: open source development environments \ MySql
Desirable: Knowledge of Salesforce, Wordpress, Podia
Confident planning technical solutions
Deadline orientated
Good communicator, able to work with various members of the team
