We are looking for an interim Chief Marketing Officer to work directly with our Co-Founder/CEO and take full ownership of our brand, online presence, content strategy, and customer acquisition programs. The successful candidate will have a wide remit to be creative in how this is done and autonomy of how to use our (limited) budget to maximise results.
We are a tech-for-good company balancing social impact with economic returns. We want to empower users and charities to give and receive better, while creating a sustainable and profitable business we are proud of. We are demanding and driven, and are obsessively product-oriented.

In the role, you will:
- Own and grow the brand and work across the growth stack
- Set content direction and lead the content creation efforts needed for the product, website, marketing campaigns, and experiments.
- Be the voice of the user to product development efforts by creating effective feedback channels and using them to define product positioning, unique selling points, and brand attributes
- Identify new and innovative ways to drive traffic to our website/app/product, tracking and monitoring the impact and cost efficiency of the growth channels. Monitor the results in a continuous feedback loop to find out what works and what doesn’t work

What are we looking for
- Highly strategic, analytical, and creative skills and an absurdly high standard in your delivery. A jack of all trades, capable of creating a brand that people love and of integrating qualitative information, data, and emotions when forming and articulating conclusions
- Track record of marketing excellence in a product-led B2C startup: you’ve built a strong brand in your market via cross-channel marketing campaigns that you designed, implemented and evaluated
- Experience working with marketing and design tools, social platforms, and UX designers, such that you’d be able to execute end-to-end experiments by yourself. You’d know how to track results and leverage workflows and automation in your experiments, and be comfortable being scrappy and trying things that might fail
- Ability to navigate a positive and highly dynamic but intense environment. Hold a constantly open, direct communication and seek and provide feedback regularly. Be empathetic but demanding
