MAIKKA Course is a distance facilitated on-job learning program for FinlandWay teachers. Course runs over 2 years. Course consists of 5 modules, which consists of 3-7 assignments. Each assignment takes from 1 to 3 weeks to complete and there are several steps/stages.

Duration of one module is about 10 weeks
-All assignments are given at the same time when opening a module, but if possible, some completion order could be introduced
-Content drip needed module by module (new module published every 10 weeks, after we have assessed that the course participants have completed the assignments satisfactorily; see Assessment/Student profile below)
-Both course years will be running simultaneously since new schools join us each year.
=> Different course starts and content drips depending on location
=> Course run in different languages depending on school location

Currently MAIKKA is available in English, Spanish, French and Vietnamese.

Scope of Project

-Define if any LearnDash theme would be usable vs divi that we are already using on our own website, plugin and add-on combo.

Create platform 1.0 with:
-Create subdomain (we have hosting already)
-WP installation, (FinlandWay’s divi theme) and plugins (Learn-dash, any language management plugin, login plugin, add-ons etc. as agreed)
-Branding according to FW branding guidelines (provided by us)
-First course module (Maikka 1) with two language versions (content provided by us)

-1-2 h training for the team.
