System Design
The basis of what we do is a personality test called the NEO. This looks at five domains (the so-called 'Big Five) of personality - neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness. In each of these domains, six 'facets' (i.e. dimensions of each) are examined. The test is conducted online, and passed into a programme run by a company called Hogrefe, who own the worldwide rights to the test excluding USA). We - Selection and Development Technologies Ltd - take the outputs of the test and attach some analysis in terms of predicted behaviours, and some critical questions an interviewer should ask.
The output from Hogrefe consists of a series of 30 numbers (five domains and six facets in each). By reference to a lookup table - different for each of the 30 numbers - we ascribe the results into one of five categories - very high, high, average, low or very low. Each category for each facet has its own piece of analysis text and attached interview question.
What is needed is a simple process that takes the number for each facet, refers to a lookup table (which will be provided), defines from that which category the response falls into, outputs the analysis text and interview question and compiles it into a sequential report - example attached (note the Copyright footer). There are both male and female versions, which differ only by reference to 'he, 'his' or 'she', 'her' etc.
